The objective of CROSS-AUS (Confidential Reporting on Structural Safety – Australasia) is to work with construction professionals, industry, and government on safety matters concerned with the design, construction and use of building and civil engineering structures in Australia and elsewhere by:

  • collecting confidential data on the concerns of structural and civil engineers and others
  • providing expert comment in relation to these concerns
  • maintaining a database of reports and publications
  • considering whether unacceptable risk exists, or might arise in the future
  • promoting a positive attitude to learning from experience
  • publishing Newsletters, Alerts and other documents
  • helping to influence changes to improve structural safety

In using this website, you accept the objectives of CROSS-AUS and undertake not to use the information contained on this website in a manner inconsistent with those objectives.
